Fees and Conditions of Service
Fees and Costs
Equine-assisted psychotherapy
Sessions are typically one hour and cost $220 per session, including equine specialist, registered mental health specialist and the horses.
Note: This is an hourly, and not a per-person, rate.
Note: Session participation is normally limited to a maximum of four people at a time and there is typically no provision for casual observers, due to the confidential, therapeutic nature of the sessions.
Corporate Training
We have a number of corporate clients who have profoundly benefited from equine-assisted learning opportunities for their teams. Robert has extensive experience in operations, human resource, risk and quality management, as well as organisational training and development in a range of contexts.
We would love to work with you to identify key learnings and design a cost package accordingly.
Other costs
Very occasionally we are asked to provide reports, documentation, etc., for a range of requirements.
Clearly the time associated with such requests is not covered by our normal session fee but is a cost.
As part of our conditions of service, any additional services outside of session times will be charged at the standard session rate of $220 per hour or part thereof, plus reasonable travel and disbursements.
24 Hour Cancellation Policy
Sessions will only be cancelled by us for safety reasons such as excessive heat, severe storms, or bad weather, resulting in potential risks to clients. We also endeavour to accommodate clients needs as much as possible, however we require a minimum of 24 hours notice for client cancellation of sessions.
As a client, you agree that session fees are due and payable if less than 24 hours notice of cancellation is provided.
Client conduct during sessions
Session participants agree to:
• keep themselves and any dependents safe and remain attentive at all times
• promptly comply with any directions of staff members
• not act in an aggressive or intimidating manner toward horses or staff.
We reserve the right to terminate a session at any time for non-compliance with the above requirements. Full session fees will remain due and payable.
